As on ongoing project, I have started this blog to track my thoughts about table top wargaming. I have been playing games since I was old enough to roll dice. In the ninth grade was when I introduced myself into the world of table top battles by purchasing a catalog about all the available minatures for Games Workshop’s Warhammer line of games and I was hooked. Today, 20 or so years later I have reached a point of abject disappointment. Unless I am mistaken, there is currently no mass battle rules for fantastical battles(besides historic) available that fits the motif I want when I gather my armies. I feel restricted in what I am able to play with on the table more often than I feel elated and excited. Gone are the days of excitment and anticipation for when I will be able to grind my opponenets armies into the dust by the blood and sweat of my own toy soldiers.
So today is the day that I start a blog where I take it upon myself to speculate and brainstorm what I would want to have in a game of battles on my tabletop. Hopefully as time passes I can get a few other individuals with like minded interests chiming in and adding to my thoughts as I put them out into cyberspace.
